Account

A human user account in your organization.

Returned wherever the API exposes the people behind group memberships and organization roster — for example as an element of Group.members and Organization.members. Every account in the result set is already a member of at least one group in the organization.

Fields

Account.id ● ID! non-null scalar {#id}

Unique identifier for this account.

Account.email ● String! non-null scalar {#email}

Email address used to sign in and receive notifications.

Account.firstName ● String scalar {#first-name}

Given name as it appears in the UI, or null if not set.

Account.lastName ● String scalar {#last-name}

Family name as it appears in the UI, or null if not set.

Account.holdsSeat ● Boolean! non-null scalar {#holds-seat}

Whether this member holds one of the organization's seats. A member without a seat cannot use the organization, whatever groups they are in.

A member added by an identity provider holds a seat while the identity provider marks them active and a seat is free. An active member who finds every seat held waits, and takes the next seat that is released. A member added in Massdriver holds a seat while they are in at least one group.
